THE TRUTH ABOUT NICOTINE ADDICTION

Posted by Paul Royter on Saturday, November 10, 2012
You can not cure an alcoholic by giving him alcohol and you can not cure a nicotine addict by giving him nicotine."

Nicorette products in the form of gum, patches, nasal sprays... and now sprays where people can ingest the nicotine directly into their lungs claim the use of these products will help you stop smoking but they don't tell you that their products are addictive because of the nicotine they contain.  They don't tell you that chewing their gum can give you gum disease and eventually cause your teeth to fall out as well as your hair.  I have clients that this has happened to.

The patch is something I compare to a crack head changing from smoking the crack to shooting up instead.  It's just an alternate method to get the nicotine into your system and the nicotine actually stays in your system a lot longer.

Everyone needs to know that the use of any product that contains any nicotine in any form does nothing but prolong the addiction. No doctor or health care professional can claim otherwise or they would be lying.

You can not fix a car until you know what is wrong with it.  It's amazing that most smokers don't understand it's their subconscious that causes them to smoke and that's what needs to be fixed.

It is a proven fact that the only way to get rid of a bad habit is to change the way your subconscious mind thinks.  This begins by relaxing your conscious mind and creating a state of what most people call hypnosis.

The secret to getting rid of nicotine addiction is relaxing the  conscious mind so we can alter the way the subconscious thinks.   Any other method merely treats the symptom and doesn't fix what's wrong.
